Starting this August, no more Adsense Referral. Maybe it’s not functioning well.It’s not help Adsense publisher to recruite new user. People use to register directly from Google Adsense or Adwords site. That’s why i think. They just creating new version of Adsense Referral a few month ago. Now, there retiring them. It’s good for Adsense publisher actually.
Retiring any product that not meet their objective.It’s not monetize well afterall.
Google also bought DoubleClick Performics and anounce it as Google Affiliate Network(GAN). But it just for US market only. GAN are similar with Adsense Refferal. Maybe it will be combine as Google new products and brand. GAN was officially launch on 30 June 2008.
Google also Optimize Adsense Search Box. But i think it’s hard to setup. Most of newbie didn’t know how to use it & take the code from Adsense setup. I’m prefer the old, easy to use Adsense setup. It’s a little bit complex. But the good thing is we can save the ads that we create it & change it at Adsense setup without need to replace the Adsense javascript code.
